PCCL Cactus League - 2025

Cactus league is designed to help players improve their game, understand the process of college recruitment, get placed or find an alternative college to play for.  It just depends on your current status in the process.

Cactus league is set up to mostly play on Sundays so that players can play with BOTH their school team and play in our league. 

For CACTUS LEAGUE in the spring - players who are playing with their school teams (College OR High School) are NOT allowed to participate in our league.

• All players who play with us are guaranteed lots of playing time  
• Positive Coaching - We teach the game - we DO NOT scream the game
• Our focus is on the players - as it should be
• NO POLITICS
• Players from anywhere are welcome to play with us
• All games are in SoCal - OC/LA/IE/Lake Elsinore/Torrance
• 2028 grads and older are invited to play with us.

• Individual players are invited to fill out the form and tryout for one of our league teams.
  • Individual players who sign up and get invited will be placed on a team in the league.
• Full teams (School or club) are also welcome to join the league for events that fit into their schedule
  • Full teams can enter Sunday Double Headers, Weekend tournaments or both.

• January 11-12     - AZ Tournament OR Sunday DH in CA
• January 18-19     - AZ Tournament OR Sunday DH in CA
• January 24-26     - AZ Tournament OR Sunday DH in CA

  February 2 - Sunday DH in CA
• February 9 - Sunday DH in CA
• February 16 - Sunday DH in CA
• February 23 - Sunday DH in CA
• March 2 - Sunday DH in CA
• March 9 - Sunday DH in CA
• March 16 - Sunday DH in CA - Probable AZ Spring break tournament WEEK **
• March 23 - Sunday DH in CA - Probable AZ Spring break tournament WEEK **
• March 30 - Sunday DH in CA
• April 6 - Sunday DH in CA   - Probable AZ Tournament **
• April 13 - Sunday DH in CA  - Probable AZ Tournament **
• April 20 - Sunday DH in CA
• April 27 - Scout Day - Skills measurements, video and contolled games

* Rain out dates are unavoidable.  We are usually not able to reschedule as fields are only available on Sundays.

Cactus League will have 2 divisions: 

• Collegiate Division   - (Collegiate aged and some Older HS players)
• High School Division - (sophomores - seniors)

Pricing:

• Individual Player Fee Pricing:
  • Position players & 2-way players - $1300 for Cactus League (Save $500) - Or $450 paid Monthly - monthly payments due 2 weeks prior to each month.
  • Pitcher only players - $400
  • All Players purchase a jersey top and cap - $90 - unless you already have one for the team you will be playing on.

Mix some Arizona Tournaments into your Cactus League Schedule.

Any player can attend our schedule of AZ tournaments.

You can replace any of your local DH's or Tournaments with a spot in an AZ tournament

College Recruiting

All players will be set up with a FieldLevel account - this is where we do promotions for all of our players.  

• Each player (and parents) can set up a 30 minute meeting with Coach Jay to talk about recruiting/transfer options - if you need that.
• This meeting can be invaluable for high school players and parents - especially those players that are currently NOT playing for their School team.
• We can also do an invidividual player campaign on fieldlevel and introduce you to 100's of colleges - inquire with Coach Jay - Jay@PCCLeague.com
